vs 2023 Genesis GV80 in Punta Gorda, FL

Discover inspiration in every corner of the new 2023 Lincoln Aviator, the midsize luxury SUV that everyone tries to describe but can never quite put their finger on. Until, of course, they sit inside its cozy quarters and realize they weren't dreaming of something from another world. The Lincoln Aviator is more than just a suburban legend — it's your next vehicle upgrade. This American-made beauty offers a plethora of features that were designed to make your life easier. An available PowerFold® third-row seat can fold flat with just the press of a button, revealing a spacious cargo area that can handle your holiday grocery runs and last weekend's mountain gear all at once. Close the optional hands-free liftgate with just a swing of your foot under the rear sensors, and step inside your Lincoln Aviator to be greeted by Symphonic Chimes and available ambient lighting. Does your device need charging on the way? Use the cord-free, optional wireless charging pad to stay connected to those you love most.

What's that? Another luxury SUV has caught your attention in your vehicle search? We can't say we're not disappointed, but if you really must compare the two, here's a table with a few top features below. You'll see why the competition — like the new 2023 Genesis GV80 — is only second-rate this year.

We'd say we told you so, but the table above says it for us. First, when it comes to performance, the Lincoln Aviator not only offers a hybrid equivalent in its lineup (while the Genesis GV80 doesn't), it has a more powerful standard gas-powered engine. The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine produces 400 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque,1 whereas the Genesis GV80 model's turbocharged 2.0-liter I-4 only offers 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque.2 Quite a difference there, and since we know that performance matters, it's a deterrent away from the Genesis GV80. Further down the table, you can see that only the Lincoln Aviator offers ventilated second-row seats and a quad-zone climate control system. The Genesis GV80 only has an optional tri-zone climate control system and fewer speakers on its available Lexicon® Premium Audio.
